Samsung has unveiled the world’s largest flexible display LCD.
Instead of using glass substrates, this LCD is manufactured using a special plastic-centric process which allows the display to bend. Its flexibility is seen as useful in many different applications, including e-books — which has really taken off in Japan using "traditional" black&white LCD screens.
