Since the opening of the Windows on an Intel Mac contest, donations have poured in from around the world for a grand prize, which would be awarded to those who can figure out how to boot Windows XP on one of the new Macs with Intel Core Duo processors.
After several months, the contest has declared its winners. Late Thursday (March 16), the prize went to two San Francisco Bay Area software developers, Jesus Lopez, 33, of Alameda, and Eric Wasserman, 41, of Berkeley.
The project is still in its infancy, but there is great potential here for Windows and Mac users alike.
