Running out of space on your DSLR or DV cam? Fear no more, for Sony has introduced their 8GB Compact Vault drive, a Compact Flash Type-II card that has transfer speeds of up to 12MB/sec.
It will hold 2,560 jpeg images (assuming they are 3 MB each) or 320 minutes of MPEG-4 video.
The drive will be made available in June of this year. MSRP: US$259.99.
