The Dopod 595 has finally made an appearance on their Hong Kong site. This is a Microsoft Smartphone so no touchscreen, but it sports a 300MHz Samsung processor with 128MB ROM/64MB RAM. NO Wi-fi has been included and because the expansion slot is microSD, you will not be able to add support for Wi-fi via SDIO. HTC has instead decided to bank on 3G/GPRS/HSDPA for this device.
Users will be pleased to learn that support for both Chinese and English has been built-in to the device, and for frequent travelers to the Mainland, the user interface can even be switched to Simplified Chinese.
Though not on their website yet, the 595 has been spotted in Three stores, retailing for HK$4,280.
