Gigabyte g-smart i200Gigabyte has unveiled a new line of Pocket PCs at 3GSM Asia World Congress, among them this g-Smart i200, with the following features:

  • Onboard DVB-H and DVH-T receivers
  • 2.69-inch VGA touchscreen display
  • USB 2.0 port (for TV-out connectivity)
  • Onboard 512MB memory
  • Limited TV recording capabilities
  • Windows Mobile 6.0 (codenamed Crossbow) OS

  •

With trials of DVB-H currently underway in Quarry Bay, this device is arriving perfectly timed for 2007/2008.  Regular use of Windows Mobile on a VGA-2.7" screen may give you a headache, but this increased resolution could be catered for mobile TV viewing.
