  • Stereo Bluetooth 2.0, Infrared port and USB 2.0 support
  • Conventional keypad on a removable flip along with a QWERTY keyboard
  • Internal 128MB flash memory and 64MB RAM
  • Symbian 9.1 OS with the UIQ 3.0 user interface

Main disadvantages

  • Incompatible with older Symbian UIQ applications
  • No EDGE support
  • Records video with a QVGA 320×240 pixels resolution
  • Display not very legible under direct sun light
  • User interface is not always user-friendly

    I ummed and arrred about this one as well. I loved using my old P900, but it had low memory issues. It had a great scroll wheel as well, but now the P990 can not click forward and back on the wheel anymore.

    I think the pen stylus input system on Symbian is much better than what you get with WM5. I use block recognizer on the PPC.

    It would be nice to have a camera on a phone with auto focus.
