O2 Xda Argon

o2_argon_sideO2 UK has launched the Xda Argon which is based on the HTC Panda. The selling points of this device have got to be its price and the relatively large 3.5" LCD screen.

Inside it’s got a Samsung 400MHz CPU, 128MB RAM/256MB ROM, 2.0MP camera, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth 2.0. It’s a 2.5G device with support for GPRS/EDGE, but no 3G/UMTS. Last but not least, it will run Windows Mobile 5 and weighs in at 200g!

Very basic and no-frills model but IF the price is right it could make for a decent entry-level device for newcomers to the Pocket PC phone platform.  For more information, check out the O2 UK product page.
