Hang Seng Bank And PCCW Launch Hong Kong’s First TV Securities Trading Service

HONG KONG, August 27, 2007 – Hang Seng Bank (“Hang Seng”) and PCCW Limited (“PCCW”) today jointly announced the launch of Hong Kong’s first TV securities trading platform – Hang Seng TV Securities Trading Service on now TV.

Hang Seng Personal e-Banking customers with securities accounts can place securities trading instructions to trade local securities via two now TV channels – now Business News Channel (Channel 333) and now shop (Channel 501). By using now TV’s remote control, customers can log on to a designated page linked to a simplified version of Hang Seng’s Personal e-Banking service. Customers can place, amend and cancel trading orders, as well as check order status and securities account balances at any time.
