After HTC completed the acquisition of Dopod’s Asian operations, we’ve seen only the HTC Touch released in what has turned out to be a quiet summer. We are on the verge, however, of receiving the second HTC release – the HTC TyTN II aka the KAISER.
More powerful than any mobile communications device you’ve seen
before, the HTC TyTN II takes global connectivity to the next level.
Staying
connected means staying ahead. The TyTN II supports the full spectrum
of network standards, guaranteeing that you will stay in touch ANYWHERE
in the world. With an internet connection via 3.5G HSDPA that is nine
times faster than 3G, using the TyTN II to download files and surf the
Web is a breeze.
ROM and RAM have both been doubled – to 256MB and 128MB respectively – but the battery capacity is unchanged at 1350mAh. The most notable differences are the inclusion of GPS, a 3.0MP camera with auto focus, and a tilt-able screen. Thickness has slimmed down by 3mm (yes, 3 millimeters) but otherwise the footprint remains almost exactly the same. The TyTN II has packed on 10+ additional grams with all the included hardware.
I wonder if the afore-mentioned three hardware additions are worth the upgrade for current 838Pro/ HTC Hermes users?
Check out HTC’s TyTN II page for all the details – in particular, be sure to check out the "Interactive e-Learning" link in the middle of the page.
