Confirmed: Hong Kong to get iPhone 4S on November 11
Hong Kong, are you waiting for the iPhone 4S? Of course you are. If you haven’t snagged one at Sin Tat mall, then wait a little longer, because Apple has announced the iPhone 4S will land on our shores on Remembrance Day, November 11. What’s more, you can actually pre-order starting this Friday, November 4!
CUPERTINO, California—November 1, 2011—Apple® today announced that iPhone® 4S, the most amazing iPhone yet, will be available in Hong Kong, South Korea and 13 additional countries on Friday, November 11. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 4S beginning on Friday, November 4.
iPhone 4S is packed with incredible new features including Apple’s dual-core A5 chip for blazing fast performance and stunning graphics; an all new camera with advanced optics; full 1080p HD resolution video recording; and Siri™, an intelligent assistant that helps you get things done just by asking.
Beginning Friday, November 11, iPhone 4S will be available in Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea. iPhone 4S is available today in 29 countries around the world and will be available in more than 70 countries by the end of the year.
Shame that Siri does not yet have a local Hong Kong database of items to search through… will the official HK launch change things?

iPhone 4S coming to Hong Kong soon
UPDATE: iPhone 4S will launch in Hong Kong on November 11, 2011.
The iPhone 4S has made it onto Apple Hong Kong’s home page. No official date for the HK release has been announced, and unfortunately Siri’s database does not include Hong Kong yet (Apple Daily, video in Chinese).
HKJC app now compatible with iOS 5
After news from HKJC warned users to be aware of incompatibility issues with iOS 5, the HKJC has finally released today version 1.0.6 with iOS 5 compatibility.
