Did you answer ‘yes’ each time the command ‘cp’ asked you for a confirmation?
If yes, I suspect that there is something wrong in the hack file that you have downloaded.
However there should be a file ‘postscript.sh’. If you don’t find it, it’s not normal.
After having uncompressed the hack file in the directory ‘install’ you should find the postscript.sh in that directory, and 3 subdirectories (hack, rpm, xfce4).
In the directory ‘hack’ you should find the files ‘statusbar.conf’, ‘applications.menu’, ‘locale’, ‘addtional.repo’, firefox-3.0.3.tar.bz2′, and the subdirectories ‘desktop’, ‘pixmaps’, ‘scripts’.
I have attached here a file ‘install.txt’. It’s a shell script which makes the same operations as postscript.sh, but which can be launched from your install directory.
Copy that file into your install directory.
Open the command line interface and go to that directory.
Enter the following command:
It will install everything, including firefox.
If you don’t want to have firefox in French, download the English version in the install/hack directory BEFORE launching install.txt 😉
