I have tried all of those but I don’t remember them allowing a raw H.264 input. Very few do. That is why I want to find a tool that allows me to take the raw H.264 input and convert to a common video standard such as AVI so that I can re-encode the oversize AVI to a smaller size that fits into a 4.7Gb disc. The last thing I want is to waste 4 hours to convert the oversized MKV to AVI and then take another 4 hours to reencode the AVI back to standard MKV size.
Last resort of course is to store to DVD-DL discs. $10 a DL blank disc compare to $2 for 4.7Gb discs…
