Apart from RAM, which was kinda sold along with memory cards, there weren’t a lot of individual components for sale. i.e. HDD, CPU, graphic cards, etc.
The expo mainly sells mostly netbooks/laptops and some small desktop systems. Even large manufacturers such as Lenovo and Dell showcase mostly Netbooks and Laptops and very few desktops and even server class systems. I have only noticed one or two retailers showcasing motherboards.
Most of the booths were selling:
– LCD/LCDTV (80% of the expo was selling Topcon, Phillips and LG/Samsung)
– Netbooks/Laptops (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Dell, Lenovo comprised most of the manufacturers)
– Memory card (Toshiba and Sandisk mostly)
– RAM (assorted)
Very few booths were selling:
– cheapo accessories
– HDD/CPU/GPU etc (Videocom but not Centrafield)
