Looks great though, and based on the XDA developers Blackstone forums this is a real winner! The only drawback is spending that much on it after I just finished the monthly payments on my Kaiser ;D
The Touch Pro also has a few less buttons than on the Kaiser as well. Quite miss the scroll wheel. Having said that, I have found navigating around the phone with just the touch screen is easier with the Touch Pro and now I’m less reliant on the hardware keys these days. I guess that is because of a combination of things including improved tweaks to the OS to make it more touch friendly, smaller phone (it feels more comfortable and easier to span the entire screen with my thumb while holding the phone with one hand…maybe not the case with the HD) and getting accustomed to the new phone.
What I do miss is being able to customise the hardware keys. I like to use Hbutton to multi-config shortcuts to the hardware keys. I was able to customise 5 buttons on the Kaiser, but with the Touch Pro I can only customise 1 button. I guess there will be no buttons available on the HD.
Squid, I think paying the phone in installments is a great way to help stop yourself from buying a phone each time a new one comes out! Now your Kaiser has been paid for I think you deserve a new phone 🙂 Go on…. you know it’s true 🙂 Go for it! Heh
