Insurance for the next one maybe, but too late for this one. Actually I tried to claim for a phone a long way back with home/travel insurance combo, but the phone wasn’t covered. They were telling me phones were too high risk. Maybe that has changed or maybe you need to particularly specify, which I did not do.
Anyway, Pro2 is back, but not after a change of motherboard and $HK1590 later. Seems like the battery charging problem can not be fixed otherwise. I get a new IMEI. I still retain the warranty on the unit as well.
