HTC has released another hotfix in the members area of their site. It doesn’t say that it’s for the TyTNII on the download page, but when you extract the zip file, the file name has “TyTN_BT_m……”
I have my bluetooth on all the time, but it never occured to me that it could have been a cause for some of my crashes.
Anyway, I have installed the file. Now to see if Kaiser hangs less or notHot fix for system hang resulting from Bluetooth usage when memory is low
Using Bluetooth when your device is low on available memory (below 10 MB), such as while running several programs at the same time, may cause your device to hang. Please download this hot fix to resolve and prevent this problem.
Follow the instructions below to download and install the hot fix on your device:
1. Make sure you have Microsoft ActiveSync? installed on your Windows XP PC or Windows Mobile Device Center on your Windows Vista? PC. You can find Microsoft ActiveSync from this link or Windows Mobile Device Center from this link.
2. Connect and synchronize your device with your PC via Microsoft ActiveSync? or Windows Mobile Device Center using the USB cable.
3. Copy the hot fix, which is an exe file, to your device.
To install the hot fix, tap the exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
