May 15, 2010 by kai Leave a Comment

The Airports Council International has named Hong Kong airport the world’s best among facilities serving 40 million-plus passengers a year, for the fourth consecutive year.

Hong Kong airport also came third in both the Asia-Pacific region and overall categories.

In the 2009 Airport Service Quality survey, the city’s airport achieved a record high rating of 4.76 out of 5.00, meaning more than 98% of the survey respondents rated the airport as excellent or very good.

Key areas particularly commended by passengers were terminal cleanliness, airport ambience, free Internet connection, availability and cleanliness of washrooms, and comfort of gates and waiting areas.
