HK Pavilion sees 10K visitors daily

May 16, 2010 by kai Leave a Comment

The Hong Kong Pavilion at World Expo 2010 Shanghai has welcomed an average of 10,000 visitors a day, Financial Secretary John Tsang learned today.

Continuing his Shanghai visit, Mr Tsang toured the pavilion and Hong Kong’s Urban Best Practices Area exhibition.

“I am very glad to learn senior government officials and business leaders from the Mainland and overseas spoke highly of our exhibition contents and our staff’s courteous services. We also received an appreciation letter from a consul-general saying how impressed visitors were with the many interactive features of the Hong Kong Pavilion,” he said.

Since Hong Kong’s Urban Best Practices Area exhibition officially opened on May 1, it has attracted 50,000 visitors, seeing a record high of more than 5,300 people yesterday.
